Story:

In the 1970s, in a village in the Mekong Delta, a famous traditional healer was looking for a wife for his son. His only condition was that the girls had to fit into a pair of red shoes he had personally chosen. Desiring a better life, girls from surrounding areas flocked to the village, hoping to become the daughter-in-law of one of the wealthiest men. People came and went in droves, and no one paid any attention to the strangeness of this marriage proposal, nor to the mysterious disappearance of some of the girls, because in the eyes of the villagers, he was an exemplary doctor, always working tirelessly to save lives. As an investigative team, you notice unusual circumstances and decide to go to his house to find out the truth. What secret lies behind such an impeccable record? What is so special about those shoes? Justice is in your hands!

Based on the real-life Thien Linh Cai case, The Red Shoe is one of the most important pieces of the Sacrifice universe, where players will delve into the intricacies of dark magic that uses humans as “materials.” The game room is set in a 1970s Western-style house, filled with the pungent smell of traditional Chinese medicine, which will impress players from the very first moment. At first glance, the house seems unremarkable—the same courtyard, the same water jars, the same bamboo shelves for medicine, the same inner and outer rooms accompanied by narrow, long corridors. However, the team will gradually discover that behind these seemingly harmless objects lies an incredibly elaborate plan by a character with a complex inner life and past. The Red Shoe has the largest area among the Genesis rooms, yet the space is dense, suffocating, and difficult to breathe. It seems to emanate the lamentations and mournful cries of unfortunate victims left behind. The game’s content is divided into several stages and actions to separate the teams into smaller parts, each learning about one aspect of this barbaric ritual. When they meet, the missing pieces will gradually become clear, and the story of this strange bride-selection will be explained by a horrifying and bitter truth.
