Story
There exists a legendary School of Witchcraft and Wizardry — a place that admits only those with proven magical ability. For ordinary people without magical potential, gaining entry has always been an impossible dream. But one day, you each wake up to find an unexpected admission letter from the school. Elated and disbelieving, you follow the instructions and arrive at the famous wizarding institution — and an extraordinary, spell-filled adventure of a lifetime begins.
Inside, you discover notes from a previous student named Wesley about a hidden artefact — the Crown of the Eternal Stone — capable of granting magical abilities to non-magical humans. Wesley has left clues. The Crown is hidden somewhere in the school. Finding it becomes your quest.
What Makes This Room Unique
Amazing School of Magic is LOST in JB’s flagship family-friendly and non-horror experience — one of the only rooms in the network that works equally well for children and adults. Reviewers describe the puzzle design as genuinely inventive: players cast spells to unlock boxes, replicate tunes on a magical harp, tidy a wand shop, track a magical creature to find its treasure, and solve riddles — all with logical consequences for mistakes (triggering alarms, affecting other students, requiring remediation). One Tripadvisor reviewer rated both this and Project Noah 5/5, calling the stories ‘engaging,’ the theming ‘immersive,’ and the puzzles ‘varied’ in ways that exceeded expectations for the format.
Ideal For
- Families with children (the branch’s recommended family room)
- Harry Potter / fantasy fans seeking an immersive magical world
- Corporate groups wanting fun without horror elements
- First-timers who want a welcoming, non-scary introduction to LOST in JB
Player Tips
- Actions have consequences — touching forbidden objects triggers real in-game consequences that must be resolved
- The harp puzzle requires listening ability; prepare your group for a musical challenge
- Read everything: Wesley’s notes contain critical quest information
The live actor integrates naturally — do not treat them as purely a scare element; they have a story function.
