This review doesn’t spoil any details, it’s just my personal experience. Anyone who wants a similar experience should go to the asylum room right away!
I had the chance to experience Miss Terry’s asylum room with a friend. Because we were afraid we wouldn’t be able to solve everything in an hour, we rented it for two hours. And it was absolutely worth the money! In those two hours, we went through everything from suspense and breathlessness to fear, a daze, and constantly holding onto the doors for fear of being scared. I’ve never experienced an escape room that felt so real. We were screaming from the first room to the last, pushing each other to see who would go first, who would be the last, and sometimes the lights would flicker on and off, and something would suddenly appear, making us grab each other and run. That feeling is something only asylum could give us today. To be honest, I would still want to go back and experience that feeling again, even though I already know how to solve all the rooms.
The most memorable experience was in room 3. The moment we entered, it gave us a jumpscare that made all four of us scream. It was the scariest room for me. It was pitch black, with only a few dim lights to help us solve the puzzles, and we spent most of our time there just pushing each other around, trying to figure out who would guard the door and who would solve the puzzles. Even though it was time-consuming, the fear just kept building as I kept thinking about a person in a white shirt with black hair jumping out at any moment. Then, the last room was almost the scariest because after solving the puzzles, there was a real jumpscare, so the four of us had to get out as fast as possible. We ran out one after another, and I was still breathless and my heart was pounding when we finally got out.
In general, for me, the asylum room is truly for those who want to challenge their courage. At least one brave person is needed to solve the puzzles and stuff, because if everyone is afraid of ghosts, I think solving room 2 would be a miracle =))) It’s incredibly scary, but the questions are quite easy and logical, so if you want fewer puzzles and more scares, I highly recommend the asylum room!!
