Story & Setting
In the 1960s, a tailor shop named Tư Kỳ became famous throughout the region for its impressive designs and the distinctive red color of its fabric, a color that could not be dyed anywhere else. Word spread, and many young women came to Mr. Tư to learn tailoring, hoping to change their lives. Nhi was no exception; she went alone to learn the trade at Mr. Tư Kỳ’s tailor shop.
However, from then on, Nhi completely lost contact with everyone, disappearing without a trace, even from her family. Determined to uncover the truth, you and your team transform into Nhi’s friends, disguised as apprentices, and go to Mr. Tư Kỳ’s house to learn the trade and unravel the mystery of the girl’s disappearance.
Gameplay Focus
The Tailor is distinguished by lock-and-key puzzle density. Rather than atmospheric horror or narrative investigation, this room emphasizes systematic puzzle-solving. Multiple codes interconnect; solutions to early puzzles unlock progressively harder challenges. Lock mechanisms are varied—combination locks, pattern locks, hidden mechanisms. Players describe satisfaction from systematic progression.
The Tailor appeals to experienced escape room players who enjoy pure puzzle difficulty without excessive narrative weight. Less story-driven than Bloody Heart, more gameplay-focused.
